Oakey Country Golf Club - GET STARTED PROGRAM

 

 

Oakey Golf Club is now registered for assistance under the Get Started Program. Michael Rietveld is the registered contact person for the club and can be contacted via email at michaelrietveld@yahoo.com.au.

 

What is Get Started?

 

Get Started is one of three funding programs that comprise the Queensland Government’s Get in the Game initiative to support sport and recreation at the grassroots level. Get Started assists children and young people who can least afford or may otherwise benefit from joining a sport or recreation club.

 

The club will appear on the Get Started club locator at www.nprsr.qld.gov.au/funding/getinthegame/clubs/index.php

 

There is help text available throughout QGrants to assist you with its use. More detailed information on the voucher redemption process is available on the department’s website at http://www.nprsr.qld.gov.au/funding/getinthegame/redeeming-voucher.html.

 

Committee members and volunteers should familiarise themselves with the legislation; and who the contact person managing the redemption of vouchers is at your club. A Sample Voucher, Fact Sheet for Clubs and Fact Sheet for Parent/Carers/Guardians are available on our website. You are encouraged to distribute these to your committee members and volunteers
